Poultry Catching Manager
Poultry Catching Manager - East Yorkshire (Multi-site) - - £40,000–£45,000
The Job:
An established poultry business is seeking a Poultry Catching Manager to lead and coordinate live bird catching and haulage operations across multiple farm sites.
This is a hands on leadership role responsible for planning and overseeing daily catching activities, managing rotas and workforce requirements, and ensuring birds are caught, handled and transported safely and efficiently. You will liaise closely with farm managers and production teams to maintain smooth workflow and minimise downtime.
You will enforce health & safety procedures, oversee risk assessments, ensure correct PPE usage and maintain strict biosecurity standards. The role also includes monitoring bird welfare, maintaining operational documentation, investigating incidents where required, and driving continuous improvement across teams....
