About the Position

The Sari Lauri Research Group is looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher. The employment start date is 1st August 2026 or upon agreement. Employment is two years with possible continuation. Salary is approximately 3 500 € per month.

About the Research Group

The Research Laboratory in Synaptic Plasticity and Development, led by Sari Lauri, is affiliated with the Neuroscience Center at the University of Helsinki. The research interests focus on functional maturation of neuronal circuitries in healthy and diseased brain, investigated at molecular to behavioural levels using animal models and a variety of electrophysiological, optogenetic and chemogenetic tools, local genetic manipulation, histological analysis and behavioural tests. The laboratory provides an international, inspiring and supportive research environment with excellent research facilities.
