This open position is part of the Climate Nexus Convention, funded by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity (MECB), Government of Luxembourg. This five-year initiative aims to make Luxembourg climate-ready by integrating research, education, policy, and public engagement to address climate change, biodiversity loss, and socio-economic challenges. LCSB is involved in the Institutional Readiness pillar, which leverages socio-environmental data to enhance climate services in Luxembourg and monitor climate-related systemic risks. This includes planning and implementation of field studies to map chemical substances in Luxembourg that may be detrimental for human health and ecosystems in the context of climate change, building on existing knowledge with enhanced policy relevance.
