Job Description
Postdoctoral Fellowship on Tissue mechanics and inflammatory processes in human skin
- Department of Microbiology, Section for Research- (in new tab)
- About the position
**Project title**
Navigating the Tunnel: Keratinocyte Dynamics & Therapeutic Targeting of IL-17 in Hidradenitis Suppurativa
**Position summary**
We seek a motivated postdoctoral researcher to join a multidisciplinary team investigating the dynamic mechanisms that drive Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS). The position focuses on functional characterization of dysregulated skin cells in HS to elucidate underlying processes of disease initiation. Combining spatial phenotyping of intact tissue, mechanistic studies on primary skin cells, and clinical observations, the project will investigate how keratinocyte phenotypes promote tunnel formation and how existing therapies modulate these dynamic processes.
The position is funded by Helse SΓΈr-Γst.
