**Job Description**

The post-doctoral fellow will have duties that will include basic and translational research projects in urologic oncology. The Kyprianou lab focuses on the investigation of novel therapeutic targeting in metastatic, castration-resistant prostate cancer and renal cancer towards overcoming advanced disease and in collaboration with Dr. Navneet Dogra’s lab are investigating the identification of novel liquid biopsies and biomarkers of therapeutic resistance (exosomes) . The Kyprianou lab is NIH funded and is well established in the field of translational research. The candidate post-doc will use a wide array of techniques including bioinformatics, immunohistochemical analysis of tumor tissue, pre-clinical PDX models, transgenic mouse models, isolation of extracellular vesicles from serum, flow-cytometry and molecular biology techniques ( including RT-PCR, confocal microscopy) to define the underlying mechanisms of emergence of metastatic therapeutically re...
