The Lung Epithelial Biology Laboratory at the Penn Lung Biology Institute (LBI), under the direction of Dr. Michael Beers, has an exceptional opportunity available for Postdoctoral Fellows to join a collaborative research project directed at unraveling the mysteries of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and other parenchytmal lung diseases.
The Beersβ Lab has an existing program funded by NIH, the Department of Veterans Affairs, private foundations, and industry to study the molecular mechanisms that regulate tissue injury and repair in focused on discovery, target ID, target validation, and proof or principal studies aimed at uncovering and exploiting novel pathways to treat fibrotic lung diseases.
