The Singson laboratory at the Waksman Institute of Microbiology is seeking a postdoctoral associate to participate in our studies of reproductive biology in the C. elegans model system. Specifically, the candidate will contribute to our fertilization synapse, sperm activation, and sperm mitochondria dynamics projects. Experience with C. elegans genetics, reproduction, cell biology are required. Further, experience with protein-protein interaction methods like the split ubiquitin yeast-two hybrid method and SIM microscopy training will be needed. The individual will report directly to the laboratory Principle Investigator (PI).

The position requires being able to design and carry out experiments with the C. elegans model system as well as other experimental systems in the lab such as yeast two hybrid protein-protein interaction methods.
