Job Description

Responsible for optimizing the electricity supply and demand portfolio by managing power and retail supply contracts, monitoring market exposure, and supporting trading strategies. A critical part of this role is the ability to develop and maintain a portfolio optimization model, ideally using Python or a similar programming language, to support the needs of a Retail Electricity Supplier (RES) under the Philippine market environment. This includes handling complex data sets, simulating market scenarios, and providing actionable insights that enhance cost-efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Energy, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of WESM operations, ERC regulations, and DOE circulars (e.g., RCOA, RPS, GEOP).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in forecasting and scenario analysis. <...
