Job Description
**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As a Polysom Tech, you will perform diagnostic sleep procedures per physician orders and established protocols. Every day you will conduct and evaluate polysomnograms for patients. You will be expected to set up the lab, prepare patients, score sleep staging, assist with data tabulation, and monitor/adjust equipment. To be successful in this role, you must possess thorough knowledge of sleep monitoring equipment, maintain skills through education, and participate in quality assurance under Sleep Lab Manager supervision, ensuring diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.

+ Provides for the assessment and evaluation of the appropriateness and effectiveness of diagnostic testing based on patientsβ age, cognitive and physical abilities, and/or developmental needs. Is responsible for communication to the physician of pertinent patient data.
