**Job Description**

The Preventive Maintenance Technician performs routine preventive maintenance and lubrication on machines and equipment in a machine shop environment. A major focus of this role is maintaining the chip and coolant handling systems to ensure reliable operation and minimal downtime. The technician works autonomously on minor mechanical repairs and process tasks such as unplugging sluices, replacing way wipers and piping, and eliminating air, coolant, and hydraulic leaks. This position also provides hands-on support to machine repair technicians for two-person tasks on equipment throughout the facility.
