Reading – Hybrid (3 days onsite, some flex possible)

We’re looking for a Platform Engineer with a strong Linux/on-prem background to join a growing Platform Systems team supporting large-scale ISP and operational infrastructure environments.

The current environment is predominantly Linux and on-prem focused, with a major programme underway to modernise infrastructure, expand cloud capability, and mature platform engineering practices across the team. You’ll play a key role in helping shape this journey.

This role would suit someone with a strong Linux infrastructure and virtualisation background who has moved into cloud and automation engineering over the last few years, particularly within ISP, hosting, or large-scale application environments.

This is a hands‑on senior engineering role with opportunities to mentor others, influence best practices, and contribute to the team’s evolution into a more modern platform engineering function.
