What’s the role?
NewsCorp is evolving as a publisher, adding video and audio content to our strong print and digital publishing channels. To support our rapid growth in video publishing, we are implementing a suite of video production platforms including Media Asset Management.
Reporting to the Platform Manager - Digital Asset Management, the Platform Engineer is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Asset Management platforms, working as part of a team across several adjacent platforms.
You will initially be working on a project involving:
Creating video and audio workflows;
Developing operations procedures and related documentation.
Longer term the role will evolve with the organisation's growing needs as they relate to digital asset production and management.
