Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative to join a growing team in South Yorkshire. This role is based within a busy industrial yard environment and is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, loading, and unloading of steel materials and deliveries.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring materials are accurately picked, organised, and dispatched in line with operational requirements, while maintaining strict health and safety standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe loading and unloading of lorries using overhead crane, forklift, or side loader
• Selecting and arranging steel products to fulfil internal and external orders
