General Description / Primary Purpose Under the direction of the Director of Finance, the Plant Controller is responsible for plant periodic financial reporting projects, as well as accounting control policies and procedures for plant operations.
Responsibilities
Lead the consolidation and delivery of accurate and timely periodic financial reporting projects such as the monthly financial close process for plant, operating metrics, forecast/budget cycles, and prepare period operations report summarizing plant performance, as well as ad‑hoc analyses.
Develop and maintain a standard cost accounting system, including operations and variance analyses; leverage comprehensive financial analyses and use results to provide strategic input to upper management in support of Operational Excellence initiatives.
Monitor process effectiveness and efficiency against goals and objectives, taking corrective action as necessary; identify, implement, and support complex process improvements.
