Position Summary

The Pipefitter is responsible for hosing and piping of tools, fixtures and associated equipment used primarily within robotic/automated assembly lines for the automotive industry. The Pipefitter should be familiar with Parker 801 hose, push‑to‑connect tubing and fittings. The Pipefitter is also responsible for threading and grooving sch. 40 pipe up to 4”. Experience in reading pneumatic schematics and troubleshooting is required.

Pay Rate

$35 to $38 CAD

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive assembly / tooling or assembly systems

• Must be able to use hand tools (hand benders, power threaders, hydraulic hose grimpers, etc.)
• Some machining skills (lathe, milling machines, drill press, surface grinders, etc.)
