**PAY $25-35 PER HOUR + OT**

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform manual GTAW (TIG) open-root pipe welding on stainless steel piping systems.
+ Weld 2” NPS Schedule 80 stainless steel pipe in the 6G (45° fixed) position.
+ Execute high-quality root pass, hot pass, fill, and cap welds with full fusion and penetration.
+ Set up and maintain argon shielding gas and internal purge systems to ensure oxidation-free root welds.
+ Select and use proper filler metals (e.g., ER308L / ER316L) per material specifications.
+ Control heat input, arc length, travel speed, and interpass temperature to prevent distortion and ensure metallurgical integrity.
+ Perform accurate pipe fit-up, including bevel angle, land (root face), root opening, and alignment tolerances.
+ Read and interpret Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), isometric drawings, P&IDs, and weld symbols.
