Job Description




Responsibilities of the Position

  • Responsible for the operation and safety of the aircraft they command and for all those on board during the flight;
  • Assist in monitoring on-board geophysical equipment;
  • Complete preflight inspections and postflight reports;
  • Liaise with foreign aviation authorities;
  • For each flight, become familiar with: the planned route/flight plan; the aerodromes planned for normal and emergency use, and the survey navigation equipment and ensure that it is in working order.
  • Ensure the following has been met: the flight as planned can be made safely; and the aircraft equipment including emergency, survival and safety equipment are installed.

    • Qualifications and Experience

  • A valid commercial pilot´s licence with group 1 instrument rating;
  • Minimum of 1,000 total hours;
  • A valid passport or the ability to obtain a valid passport for the ...
