Overview

The Priority Coverage Team physiotherapist (PT) is an innovative position at Sunnybrook designed to provide coverage across a number of areas within acute care. In addition to working on the Priority coverage team, this PT will also support the Surgical Short Stay Unit and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit. This position allows the successful candidate to gain clinical experience across multiple programs and to develop relationships with the various interprofessional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred patient assessments and interventions in collaboration with the interprofessional team, including recommendations for discharge and follow-up as required (e.g., home care program, community or rehabilitation resources).
