This role primarily involves weekend call, with shifts running from 7 am to 7 am, focusing on a range of abdominal and soft tissue cases, including appendectomies, gallbladder removals, and the treatment of bowel obstructions or perforations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide general surgical care during weekend call coverage.
• Manage abdominal and soft tissue cases.
• Perform procedures such as appendectomies and gallbladder removals.
• Treat bowel obstructions and perforations.
• Adhere to a 7 am to 7 am shift schedule during call.
• Handle 24-hour out-of-house weekend call.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in General Surgery is required.
• Experience with the Allscripts EMR system.
