Duties
Help
Serves under the direction of the Regional Medical Director (RMD) and will travel throughout their respective region providing professional health care services for federal prisoners confined at the facilities within the region.
May serve as the acting Clinical Director of a particular facility providing oversight and guidance to staff physicians or mid-level practitioners assigned to the facility.
Provides timely and appropriate care to inmates at facilities within a particular region in the absence of the Clinical Director or Staff Physician.
Participates in interviews and selection recommendation process for physicians within their respective region.
