Immediate need for a Psychiatrist to join a well established Community Health / behavioral Health group.

seeking a full-time staff Psychiatrist to provide clinical care. The Psychiatrist treats or directs treatment of recipients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications. The Psychiatrist operates as part of a team with other clinic providers and support staff in accordance with the scope of operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides comprehensive clinical services to patients within the clinic
Performs general psychiatric assessments to determine the nature and extent of mental disorders and formulate a treatment program
Provides direction, as needed, in crisis and potential need for hospitalization
Responsible for documentation of psychiatric evaluations and/or treatment within our standards of operation
Must have experience working with diverse population
Must be a critical thinker with the ability to problem solve
