Position: Physician Assistant- Metabolic Medicine
Location: 243 North Road, Poughkeepsie, NY, 12603
Division: Clinical Operations
Department: Gastroenterology
Classification: Full Time, Exempt (Salaried)
Reports to: Physician/Practice Director
Shift/Core Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Our Metabolic Medicine Program combines the art and science of medical weight management. While we support surgical intervention when appropriate, most of our patients choose non-surgical, medically guided care. Our comprehensive, ongoing treatment plan focuses on lifestyle modifications—including changes in diet, physical activity, and behavior. The program follows a two-step approach: thorough assessment followed by personalized management. Treatment may include weight-loss medications, dietary counseling, and tailored interventions, all aimed at achieving and maintaining a healthy body weight. ...
