Non-Operative Pain Management/Sports Medicine position at a busy Orthopedic practice in New York with multiple locations.Responsibilities:Evaluation & management of musculoskeletal conditions, new patients and follow upsOrder imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT)Perform procedures such as joints injections, shoulders and knees , (corticosteroids, visco supplementation) Possible epidurals or facet injections.Refer to other healthcare professionalsPrescribe PT/OT,Pre and post operative follow up callsPayors:Commercial payors, Medicare, and Work comp/personal injuryQualifications:Graduate from an accredited MD or DO program with fellowship training in Interventional Spine or Pain MedicineBoard Certified or Board EligibleExcellent communication skillsPatient-focused, collaborative, team playerNew York State License/DEA
