Job Details

Responsibilities:
+ Administers Physical Therapy treatments per MD referral and in accordance with NYS practice act.

+ Performs comprehensive evaluations.

+ Develops appropriate treatment plans with realistic, functional goals.

+ Observes patients' response to treatment physically and psychologically and adjusts the treatment plan accordingly.

+ Educates nursing and other hospital staff regarding posture, body mechanics and transfer techniques as needed.

Requirements:
+ BS, MS or DPT degree in Physical Therapy from accredited PT program

+ Current NYS Physical Therapist license required
