Role Mission: IDEA Physical Education teachers instruct students in Academy Grades {PreK-5} and/or College Preparatory Grades {6-12} in all physical education aspects. The physical education program strives to develop students' personal fitness and skill-related abilities. The program reinforces students' understanding and application of fitness concepts and motor skills through a variety of movement forms and activities.

All physical education teachers are responsible for ensuring that every IDEA student masters personal and social responsibility, self-directed learning, and the problem-solving skills necessary to succeed in college. IDEA Physical Education teachers set ambitious goals for student achievement and diligently track student data to inform dynamic and effective daily lesson plans.
