Key Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures safely and accurately
Prepare patients for blood collection and explain procedures clearly
Label, handle, and transport specimens according to laboratory protocols
Maintain accurate patient and specimen records
Ensure compliance with infection control and healthcare safety standards
Monitor patients for adverse reactions during or after blood collection
