This role is a traditional phlebotomy position with a strong focus on blood collection, specimen processing, and exceptional customer service in a busy patient service center. The phlebotomist performs a high volume of blood draws, processes and centrifuges specimens, enters orders and patient data into the laboratory system, and supports a fast-paced clinical environment while working closely with another phlebotomist.
Responsibilities

+ Perform venipuncture and blood draws on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, with a primary focus on blood collection for approximately 70% of the workday.

+ Process specimens by centrifuging, splitting, labeling, and preparing samples for shipping in accordance with laboratory protocols and safety standards.
