Job Description
The Phlebotomist II plays a key role in supporting laboratory operations by performing high-quality blood draws and specimen collections for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations. This role assists with troubleshooting, training, and making workflow improvement recommendations while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities

+ Perform venipuncture and other blood draws for a high volume of patients across pediatric to geriatric age groups while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

+ Clearly and courteously explain venipuncture, blood draw procedures, and other specimen collection processes such as urine or fecal collection to patients.

+ Collect, label, and store specimens according to established procedures and test requirements.
