The Phlebotomist performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups in a fast-paced hospital and laboratory setting. This role includes pediatric blood collections and handling difficult draws. The Phlebotomist ensures accurate specimen processing, upholds strict compliance and safety standards, and supports high-quality patient service in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities

+ Perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques from patients of all age groups, including pediatric patients.

+ Conduct pediatric blood collections with care, precision, and sensitivity to the needs of children and their families.

+ Handle difficult blood draws, including patients in medical office buildings and other challenging situations.

+ Process specimens accurately and efficiently according to established laboratory protocols and procedures.
