Overview

Phlebotomy Services – Medical Laboratory Pre‑Analytical Technician (Phlebotomist) – Permanent 0.5 FTE (40 hours per fortnight). Rostered shifts across North Shore Hospital, Elective Surgery Centre, Tōtara Haumaru, Waitākere Hospital and off‑site clinics (Mason Clinic).

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood collection using vacutainer and butterfly methods.
• Provide patient‑focused service in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
• Work flexible hours: 7am–5pm weekdays, 7am–12pm weekends and public holidays; extend hours as required.
• Travel to North Shore Hospital, Tōtara Haumaru, Elective Surgery Centre (North Shore Campus) and Waitakere Hospital sites, and off‑site clinics.

Qualifications

• Current hospital phlebotomy experience.
• Current annual practising certification with MsC.
• Ability to cover required service hours.
