The **Harborview Medical Center Pharmacy Department** is looking for an outstanding **Pharmacy Technician** to join our **Outpatient Pharmacy Team** !
**WORK SCHEDULE**
β’ Full-Time / 40 hours per week
β’ Rotating/Variable Shifts
**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**
β’ Assist the Pharmacist in professional activities and perform assigned tasks in the outpatient pharmacies
β’ All activities of Pharmacy Technicians are performed under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Assist patients with intake of new and refill prescriptions.
+ Order entry of medication orders, which would include controlled substances, into the ambulatory pharmacy computer system, for pharmacist verification.
+ Fill patient prescriptions and perform financial functions supporting the prescription-filling process.
