Job Description

Stamford Health has an opportunity for a per diem Oncology Pharmacist! Reporting to the Supervisor of the Bennett Cancer Center pharmacy and Director of Pharmacy, this position is responsible for providing quality pharmaceutical care for the patients of the Bennett Cancer Center Department of Medical Oncology Hematology. 

Schedule - Looking for Pharmacists with availability during the week Monday - Friday 8am-4pm, 7am-3pm or 9am-5pm 

Responsibilities: 

  • Accurately prepares and dispenses medication orders per physician request according to established policies, procedures and protocols. 
  • Demonstrates understanding of chemotherapy, biotherapy and immunotherapy regimens, potential drug-drug interactions and potential adverse events.
  • Provides timely and accurate drug information to other health professionals and lay persons when required. Available to participate in education for physicians and counseling sessions for patients, educating o...
