I am looking for a Personal/Home Care Assistant to provide support and care for my daughter, a young lady in the Stoke-on-Trent area that has Lissencephaly which is also known as “smooth brain syndrome”.

My daughter has a love for music and hats! The right person for this role has to be fun loving, with a good sense of humour and not mind wearing multiple hats at once! My daughter is a sweet girl with lots of personality, and we feel this position is the best position someone could hope for.

Her symptoms may include difficulty swallowing, failure to thrive, muscle spasms, seizures, and severe global developmental delay. She can have severe seizures for which she requires oxygen and rescue medication. She is a wheelchair user and cannot communicate her needs and wishes verbally.
