Job Purpose and Work Duties

Job purpose: To support my child within the home or accessing social opportunities within the community. Keep, observe and ensure 1-1 with child, and child not left unattended at any time not even in another room.

Work Duties will include:

• Hands on one to one support at all times, play and play based learning, activities, arts and crafts, and child’s personal interests, basic cookery leaving kitchen clean and tidy after use.
• Motivating and encouraging them to take part and try new things.
• Helping them to develop social skills.

Other requirements

• Establishing and maintaining effective communication with the child and their parents, maintaining confidentiality at all time.
• Always ensuring the safety of the child.
• When child eats cut up food small and supervise at all times to prevent choking.
