Job Description
Manage 3 accounting staff plus 1 temporary staff.Drive month-end/quarter-end/year-end close process for legal entities in Japan, in collaboration with local stakeholders, AP (Accounts Payable), Billing and SCM (Supplier Credit Management) teams, as well as, Regional and HQ Accounting. Ensure close is being completed timely and with no significant issues:Review P&L and Balance Sheet flux and provide commentaries for material variancesProvide insights and explanations to key balance sheet aging analysesManual Journal entry review and approvalQuality and timely review of balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare for group audit (rolling up to US corporate audit) and local annual statutory audits for timely completion, with effective management of audit fees.Be the day to day contact point for external audit, internal audit and Tax auditMaintain General Ledger and Treasury related processes in proper conditions based on the SOX control and be the owner of...
