An opportunity is available through the Tasmanian Department of Health for Advanced Trainees in General and Acute Care Medicine to join the 2027 training intake at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

Location: Royal Hobart Hospital, Hobart TAS
Employment Type: Fixed-term, Full-time
Contract: 1 February 2027 – 7 February 2028 (with potential extension to 2–3 years)
Salary: $134,930 – $189,005 per annum (MP Level 5–11)

The Advanced Trainee will be part of the General and Acute Care Medicine Department at Royal Hobart Hospital, the largest hospital in Tasmania and the state’s tertiary referral centre.
