Job Description


Description

Assists physicians to perform Neuro-endovascular procedures including and not limited to Hemorrhagic and Ischemic stroke. Including theraputic and diagnostic procedures.


Responsibilities
  • Assists physicians during Neuro-interventional and diagnostic procedures. Knowledge of different procedure set-ups (Aspiration, Stent retrieval techniques, Glue, Onyx, Coiling, Stenting, Particle embolization etc).
  • Records pertinent data on preliminary reports and keeps database accurate. Following the physician validation of the report, the data is placed in the patient's medical record.
  • Participates in endovascular research.
  • Evaluates new instruments, equipment, and other interventional specialty items and makes recommendations. Assists in the standardization of equipment in order to ensure cost effectiveness and positive patient outcomes.
