Job Description
The University of Virginia (UVA) seeks a full-time, open track, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor to join its Division of Pediatric Cardiology. Salary is dependent upon qualifications.
Candidates must have an MD or DO and be board certified in Pediatric Cardiology. The successful candidate will have completed a year of additional formal training in advanced heart failure, transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support, and must meet criteria to be recognized as a transplant physician by UNOS. Training and experience at an institution with a high performing congenital heart surgery and transplant program is strongly preferred.
The candidate is expected to be appointed in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology of the Department of Pediatrics. The Pediatric Cardiology Division is composed of senior and junior faculty and currently comprises 13 cardiologists with a variety of clinical interests, including heart failure/transplantation/mechanical circulatory supp...
