The University of Virginia (UVA) Children’s Hospital and the Division of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery are seeking applications to join the faculty in the Section of Congenital Heart Surgery. Responsibilities include all aspects of clinical care for the congenital cardiac populations. The individual will join Dr. James Gangemi in a busy, comprehensive congenital heart program and preferably has a strong experience and interest in research and education. Opportunities exist for basic science and translational research as well as support for clinical research interests.

The Congenital Heart Program at UVA has been nationally ranked in USNWR for 10 consecutive years. It continues to grow throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia with formal collaborations with children's hospitals in Norfolk and Richmond Virginia.
