Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities -

  • Plan and execute SMT production as per daily/shift targets and schedule
  • Supervise line activities including printing, pick & place, and reflow process
  • Ensure proper manpower allocation and line balancing for efficiency
  • Monitor machine performance and coordinate for quick issue resolution
  • Ensure correct feeder setup, program verification, and first article approval
  • Track production output, downtime, and achieve KPIs like FPY and OEE
  • Maintain quality by controlling defects such as solder issues, misplacement, tombstoning
  • Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and planning teams for smooth operations
  • Ensure adherence to ESD, safety, and process discipline on shop floor
  • Support quick changeover and minimize line stoppage time
  • Train and guide operators for process improvement and skill development
  • Maintain production reports, shift logs, and traceability records
