Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the payroll function and team, supporting corporate compliance processes, and establishing/enhancing efficient, automated, payroll processes.
Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills):
+ Bachelorβs Degree from an accredited institution preferably in an Accounting related field
+ Five years of experience in accounting/ finance/payroll
+ Five years of experience in payroll/HR related functions
+ Five years of supervisory experience
+ General knowledge of GAAP, Finance and accounting theories
+ Proficient in MS Excel
+ ERP and business software experience
+ Broad experience within Payroll, including garnishments, multi-state taxing, withholding requirements
+ General experience with HR related transactions including benefits, bonus, and wage changes
+ Experience with certified payroll, desired
