Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist for a 4–6 month temporary coverage assignment in Stamford, CT. This role will support payroll processing for a multi-state employee population, with California payroll experience strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage payroll activities accurately and confidentially in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process weekly, biweekly, or semimonthly payroll for employees across multiple states

+ Ensure accurate entry and validation of payroll data, including hours, earnings, deductions, bonuses, and adjustments
