About the job Payroll Officer

We are seeking a detail oriented and deadline driven Payroll Officer to join our retail payroll team.

This position will be based at our head office in Durban.

Criteria Grade 12/Matric and payroll qualification or relevant degree or diploma. Minimum 5 years' experience as a payroll officer. Experience in the retail sector would be advantageous. Working knowledge of Sage 300. ESS systems knowledge advantageous. Financial report writing advantageous. Proficient in Word and Excel. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update payroll records, prepare payroll reports, and reconciliations for Company 001payrolls (relating to earnings, deductions, Company contributions and benefits, and leave).
