SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, perform various tasks involved in the preparation of the payroll and specialized clerical work in processing information and record keeping. This position will support all Precoat locations in the on-time preparation and submission of payroll.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and maintain payroll process documentation
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures
• Coordinate audit requests with internal and external auditors
• Prepare payroll journal entries
• Work with ADP and taxing authorities for research and resolution of payroll tax filing and payment matters
• Update payroll records in the payroll system (ADP)
• Assist with processing bi- weekly payroll for salaried associates.
