**Job Description**

**Patient Transfer Center Coordinator- HSO Patient Transfer Center - 150 E. 42nd Street - Mount Sinai Hospital - Full time - Night Shift 7pm-7am**

The Patient Transfer Coordinator facilitates the inter-hospital transfer of patients from outside affiliates as well as other hospitals into the Mount Sinai Health System. The Patient Transfer Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the patient meets all Mount Sinai's clinical, financial and regulatory criteria for transfer.

**Qualifications**

**Education requirements:**

+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Successful completion of training program as an Emergency Medical Technician, EMT Paramedic, and other protocol update programs as currently required
+ NYS Paramedic Certification, BCLS, ACLS and PALS required

**Experience requirements:**

+ Minimum of 3 years acute care experience
