Description

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in authorization processing and working knowledge of various medical insurance plans to support Burbank Dermatology. This role is primarily focused on insurance authorization processing and serves as back-up support for surgical coordination. The position plays a key role in ensuring timely approvals and supporting smooth surgical operations for a multi-specialty clinic. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Process and track insurance verifications and obtain required prior authorizations
+ Communicate with insurance providers to ensure timely approval and resolve authorization-related issues
+ Serve as a resource to patients regarding insurance coverage and requirements
