Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administrative Support: Serve as receptionist and give information to patients, visitors and other health care team members. Assist in patient admission, transfer and discharge process by preparing files and necessary documents. Order meals for staff. Book ambulance for elective cases such as for discharge, external follow-up appointments. Distribute and collect feedback forms from patients and relatives. Retrieve medical records from Medical Record Office. Record and type the ward meeting minutes. Prepare and keep current logs, files and schedules pertaining to the operations of the ward. Maintain appropriate patient data e.g. admission, discharge and transfer information. Perform periodic data entry of patient's discharges. Billing of patients' procedure charges in the ward. 2.
