**Description:**

**Position Purpose**

This person assists Patient Relations by managing the complaint and grievance line for Saint Francis Hospital and provides administrative data entry and distribution support for regulatory data capture

**What you will do**

+ Contribute to overall quality of care by treating all patients with respect and dignity
+ Prioritize, plan, organize, and manage complaint line
+ Document in the patient relations module the complaints and grievances received
+ Notify managers of the complaint or grievance timely to begin investigation and resolution process
+ Initiate grievance initial letter acknowledging receipt to sender or caller to meet CMS regulations for timeliness
+ Provide administrative and clerical support to Quality, Patient Safety, Regulatory Affairs, and Patient Relations
