Job Description Summary
Responsible for managing hospital bed capacity and patient flow, ensuring safe, efficient and timely placement of patients into appropriate units. Coordinates between other hospitals and physicians to ensure proper placement of patient transferring into and out of SE Health. Administers the policies and operational procedures necessary for the coordination of expeditious, safe admission/transfer of patients.

Essential Functions

+ Identifies and effectively utilizes the appropriate resources to ensure bed assignments are appropriate for patient population and admit type status.

+ Assumes technical responsibility for hospital transfers, admissions, and accommodations to include entering and reviewing data and dashboards in EPIC system
