RESPONSIBILITIES

I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
β’ The Patient Flow Administrative Coordinator (PFAC) provides administrative continuity and operations coordination (not exclusive to nursing), throughout The Queenβs Medical Center (QMC).
β’ This role is in support of the unit based, program based and senior leadership of QMC. In the absence of the Senior Vice President (SVP) or Vice President (VP) of any affected area, the PFAC has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate escalation to the Administrator on-call.
β’ Plays a pivotal role to decrease barriers, improve patient access and enhance quality of care using clinical expertise, leadership, organizational awareness, and critical thinking skills.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
β’ Essential: seeing, hearing, speaking, finger dexterity.
β’ Frequent: standing, walking.
β’ Occasional: sitting.
